The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) was formed in June 1995 by the unification of the five member groups of the Council for Acupuncture (CFA - 1980 to 1995). It was unanimously agreed by the members that one body should represent and govern professionally qualified acupuncturists in all aspects of their work.
The CFA worked for fifteen years to co-ordinate standards of training, and the Codes of Ethics and Practice amongst the practitioner members of the British Acupuncture Association & Register (BAAR), the Chung San Acupuncture Society (CSAS), the International Register of Oriental Medicine (IROM), the Register of Traditional Chinese Medicine (RTCM), and the Traditional Acupuncture Society (TAS).

acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine

She has also trained extensively in pulse diagnosis, which can reveal the underlying imbalances in a person's systems. The subtleties of this system require and initial consultation of around 30 - 40 minutes, her style is personal and friendly, including a discussion of the client's diet, exercise and lifestyle issues.
